TARNFOOT FARM LOCATION, near Ulverston & Barrow, Cumbria

The farm is located in the village of Leece, East of Barrow-in-Furness in the South West corner of Cumbria. ( Click first map below for larger view )

Here are detailed instructions ( Click second map below for larger view ):

• From the M6, take junction 36 heading towards Barrow-in-Furness
• About 3.5 miles along the dual carriage way, take the exit and head left on the roundabout towards Barrow
• After about 6 miles, take the second exit off the roundabout, towards Barrow
• Continue for another 13 miles, heading towards Barrow, until you reach the town of Ulverston. Go straight over a mini-roundabout near to the Booths supermarket then take a turning on the left towards Bardsea
• Follow the coast road for about 7.5 miles and then take a turning on the right towards Leece. ( Click the third map below for larger view )
• After about a mile, you will reach the village of Leece. Tarnfoot Farm is situated on the right hand side of the tarn ( lake ). Use the picture on the homepage for guidance.

NB: This is the easiest route, especially if you are bringing horses. You could also go through Barrow to reach here, but it is a little more complicated.
